Meet the Pilots

The inspiration for PreFlight Aviation Camp was born from the legacy of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), the first female military pilots of WWII. The WASP ethos of sisterhood maintains a strong presence during the camp and the women of PreFlight uphold and represent the strong bond that female aviators share.

PreFlight has an all-women staff of highly trained and decorated military veteran and civilian pilots, creating an inspiring atmosphere that forms the backdrop of the PreFlight Aviation Camp experience. All camp counselors must be at least 18 years of age and it is preferred to at least be enrolled in an aviation flight training program. Anyone applying to fly the campers must currently be employed as a Certified Flight Instructor.
